Mephisto Hall Of Fame

I grew CommandO’z in a 5 gallon AutoPot in coco using CropSalt. I use an 18/6 light schedule with overhead and undercanopy lighting.

She had a remarkably even natural canopy with perfect spacing between her fat, heavy nugs. You can see the frost from outer space, and she had a fade to die for. The whole canopy still had its spread and shape, but the main stalk itself had succumbed to the weight of the tops. Chopped on day 82 from sprout.

As far as Mephisto autoflowers go, I've had great luck washing and pressing MephistO'z-related strains. Obviously from seed everything is a bit of a roll of the dice, but in the case of MephistO'z-related F1s, I haven't had a bad washer or presser yet. They're always next-level frosty, and they always seem to have the trichome structure I'm looking for: long-stalks and fat, bulbous heads. This is all to say, I had high expectations for CommandO'z on the press before she even hit the dirt.

For this round of washing all of my autoflowers, I was targeting competition. So I purposely used gentler agitation and shorter wash cycles when making my bubble hash. Because of that, yield was not as high as it could have been if I hadn't been so hyper concerned with quality. Final yield was 2.5% live rosin from fresh frozen weight. The color was incredible, due in large part to harvesting a tad early.

Smells on this rosin are tart sour fruit up front. It's not too sharp a scent as to make you recoil, though. It invites you in. Behind the up-front tartness is a dank cheesy funk that I've come to expect on a lot of the MephistO'z-related strains. Smells don't always translate through to flavor on the smoke, but they certainly do for CommandO'z. The resulting rosin from this plant gives potent, flavorful dabs that rewards the smoker with an immediate kick that will have them questioning what it is again they were doing and whether they even just took that dab.

I have grown and pressed a lot of autoflowers and CommandO'z is my favorite strain so far on flavor and effects, bar none.
